Episode Complete!
You made it through your first episode. The Consumed have been defeated and the immediate threat has passed. Whatever comes next, you face it stronger than you were an hour ago.
Before you pack up, there are a few things to take care of. Take your time — these decisions matter.
Rewards:
Each character grew stronger in the Kairos today. It is time to reflect that.
Every player finds their character's Booster Pack — the sealed pack in the box that belongs to their character. These cards are all Awakened tier — more powerful than anything in your starting deck.
For Episode 1, each player receives one specific card from their booster pack.
Find the following card in your booster pack and set it face-up in front of you:
Shima — [Episode 1 reward card — placeholder]
Erandi — [Episode 1 reward card — placeholder]
Agowa — [Episode 1 reward card — placeholder]
Prati — [Episode 1 reward card — placeholder]
Amka — [Episode 1 reward card — placeholder]
Pona — [Episode 1 reward card — placeholder]
Set the rest of your booster pack aside face-down. Do not look at the remaining cards — those rewards are for future episodes.
Now make a decision.
You may swap this card into your Relic Deck. Your deck maximum is still 40 cards — to add this card you must remove one card currently in your deck. Choose carefully. You are not required to make this swap right now if you want to think about it.
Any reward card you choose not to swap in may be held and added to your deck at the start of any future episode. It does not expire.
The Threat:
The Consumed were defeated today. But the Kairos heard the battle.
Something worse is on its way.
Locate the Monster Booster Pack — the shared pack in the box. Draw 2 cards from it at random. These are Tier II monsters. Shuffle them into the Monster Deck.
Do not look at what they are. Do not announce their names. Shuffle them in face-down and set the deck back in the center of the table.
They are in there now. You will meet them eventually.
Checklist:
Each player locates their character's Booster Pack
Each player finds their Episode 1 reward card and sets it face-up
Each player decides whether to swap it into their deck — remove 1 card if so
Unused reward cards are set aside for a future episode
Draw 2 cards from the Monster Booster Pack and shuffle them into the Monster Deck face-down
