FAQ

  • What is Fawnalore?

Fawnalore is a storytelling strategy game that blends deck-building, exploration, and cooperative adventure. You’ll open the box, pick a hero, and learn as you play — no dungeon master, no 40-page rulebook. The story unfolds through the campaign book itself.

  • Do I need experience with other games to play?

Not at all. Fawnalore was designed for both lifelong gamers and curious newcomers. The first episode teaches everything as part of the story — you’ll be playing and learning within minutes.

  • How many people can play Fawnalore?

Fawnalore supports 1–6 players in its main cooperative campaign. You can journey solo as a Pilgrim of the Kairos or gather friends for a shared story — each hero brings a unique playstyle and role to the team.

But in PvP or custom modes, the only real limit is your table space. Combine multiple tile trays, build sprawling maps, and play as many characters as you dare. Think big — Fawnalore was made to grow with you.

  • What makes Fawnalore different from other adventure games?

Every part of the game is alive — the board changes, the story remembers, and the cards evolve as you play. It’s a mix of deck-building and storytelling where the world itself reacts to your choices. You don’t follow a script — you rewrite the legend.

  • When and where will Fawnalore be available?

We’re currently in playtest mode, refining the balance, story flow, and component design before our upcoming Kickstarter launch.

If you’d like to be part of the journey early, we’re welcoming a handful of playtesters to help shape the world before release. Reach out through our contact form or email — we’d love to hear from you.

  • Can I help or get involved?

Absolutely. Fawnalore was built to grow with its players. You can join The Kairos (our Blog community) to test, give feedback, or share your own homebrew ideas. The world evolves through the people who play it.
